The paper filter is a post-processing effect (along with the bloom effect) that the original PS2 version had. Unfortunately, this effect was not carried into either the Wii version, nor the PC emulated PS2 version (due to PCSX2's disabling the effects because of bugs).

Let me give you an example:

Don't really see what that has to do with anything. PS3 games have been ported to the 360 and vice-versa countless times. (Vanquish was developed with the PS3 as the lead platform, for example.) There's no reason they couldn't have ported this to the 360.

You're still not getting it.

But who cares, it isn't like I'm going to achieve anything. It isn't coming to 360, big deal. One more exclusive for Sony.

You missed the entire point of my argument. Autosaver said that games on the PS2 couldn't be remastered to the Xbox 360. I pointed out the Silent Hill Collection, which contained games not on the Xbox that WERE remastered to the 360.

I phrased it wrong, I forgot one of the games in the package was ported to the Xbox, but it does nothing to deflate my point. I made a slightly incorrect statement but I would save an Epic Fail award for ....more of an Epic Fail.

My point stands; you can HD re-master PS2 or PSP games to the Xbox 360. Games in both the Metal Gear and Silent Hill collection prove this point. Okami HD should have also been on the 360, IMO. And I mean, hell, there's probably lots of 360 owners who have never played Okami. Why are they bringing it back on the PS3? It's got a smaller and more hardcore userbase but they've all probably played the game before.

ill save you the humiliation and just say metal gear solid 2 was indeed ported to xbox. WITH EXTRAS (just like sh 2).

facts nobody gives a cheese about: both xbox versions of said games were later ported to the ps2, SH2 under the greatest hits label, and MGS2 as substance. so... the hd collections are a an hd port, of a port, of a port.

as for your nominee, the dices have spoken, you are not a winner of the EF award.

I phrased my post wrong again. I know MGS2 was ported to the Xbox. Peace Walker and MGS3 were not, however, yet they were HD-remastered to the Xbox 360. Like Okami should have been.

That's my point.
