It's honestly getting kind of annoying. I miss when cartoons didn't just serve as a fame machine for celebrity actors and actresses. I feel almost as though I hear about her more than the shows (and the people who create them) themselves.

It's basically MLP mixed with human psychology. Tara Strong was known for some roles (e.g. Bubbles), but was mostly sort of off the radar. Then came MLP and it's massive fanbase. Tara Strong became famous all over the internet, and because the human mind constantly connects with familiar traits and images, when you see her name or her face, you get the impression that you've seen her a lot more often than you have, simply because she's relatively fresh in your mind.
