Sega to make a next-gen console?

Admittedly it's old news. But it's not entirely disproven.

Most of the PS4 Xbox 720 estimations set their release at 2015, making that a plausible release date for their next console.

“the new console is a direct competitor with the next generation of products from Microsoft and Sony.”

It will be priced beneath 300$.

Assuming the rumors are true, this can only make or utterly destroy their company.

Frankly I'm glad their getting back. I hope they make their next console, because they were clearly incredibly innovative. They made MASSIVE failures that brought them to ruin in the console wars (mostly just poor marketing), but they made such amazing and remarkable designs.

What are your thoughts on the rumor? What kind of console would you like them to make if they create one?

I am going to close this right now. After Sega's recent losses, layoffs, and game cancellations, does anybody realistically expect them to make a new console? Let's not deal in unfounded rumors, please.
