People will stop hoping for generations dlc when the next sonic game comes out most likely. As long as generations is the newest game from sonic team, and as long as sega remains mute on the matter, people will continue to hope for dlc support.
I support Sonic CD DLC Desert Dazzle and Final Fever.

I think DLC in general is stupid. I'd rather it just be something you can unlock in the game itself. I don't see any reason as to why it can't be. It's been that way before. And for a rather long time too.
I've got a huge Neutral Pool so just consider all of you my friends.

Downloadable content is a company's way of selling a $40 game for $60. I never was interested in downloadable content, myself, unless it's free.

I think that since modding is inevitable, it is in SEGA's best interest to embrace the modding community and release editing tools for games that they don't plan on making DLC for. People are going to mod the game anyways, why not increase the quality of the mods that do come out by intentionally engineering the games to be easy to modify?

it can be alright if it's a rather old game that the developers don't want to let die or have some new ideas they want to implement.

DLC can be a way to extend the game's lifespan after a long period of time. Day 1 DLC and crap like that is stupid, though.

Edgy Hedgy, Foxboy, Woman-cat, Woman-bat, Chuckles, Big Eggy....

I'm usually sarcastic, by the way.
Insomniac Forums is so much better than this place...

To be honest, it does get tiresome when people constantly ask for DLC. Which I can't why they wouldn't.
The levels for me are getting pretty boring, it's a shame considering it was my favorite game for a while but I think it has some life left in it.

I don't care if they milk this game, there's so many stages I'd like to replay in HD with Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic

Edit: I do think DLC is rather stupid though. As people in the thread have said, what happened to unlockables?
