Despite all the other characters ruining the series so much I think Knuckles may be the only character that has shown true contribution to the series and he is the favourite amongst every Sonic fan.

Amy was a fair contribution too; having a character that couldn't spin and do all that fancy stuff so the game was a lot harder as her was cool imo
