We were all disappointed with the cliffhanger of Episode 2, as we don't even know if/when an Ep. 3 will come out. In the meantime, how about we imagine how Ep. 3's story would turn out by writing our own plots on this thread.

Please guys, take this more seriously. If you were in charge of Episode 3's story, how would it turn out. Would Knuckles appear? Would it take place on Angel Island? Would it tie-in to Sonic Adventure and/or Knuckles' Chaotix? What would you do?

Let me have a go then.

The Death Egg MkII has crash landed on an island not too far from Angel Island. Knuckles sees the Death Egg MkII crash, and decides to investigate. Sonic and Tails, who have just crash landed on an unknown location in their escape pods. They run around and find that the Death Egg MkIIhas crashed on another island. They get the Tornado and go to investigate. They meet up with Knuckles as soon as they arrive. Also, they learn that Dr. Eggman is trying to rebuild the Death Egg MkII. Knuckles, fearing that Eggman might try to steal the Master Emerald again, decides to join Sonic and Tails in stopping Eggman. Now, if an Episode 4 were to be made, the story would be for the trio to get onto the Death Egg MkII, having been repaired through resources found on Little Planet, which is inside the Death Egg, and in Episode 4, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles must go through some locations on Little Planet as they try do destroy the Death Egg. If Episode 3 was the conclusion to Sonic 4, the story would be for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to just find the new Death Egg and destroy it once and for all, and to release Little Planet from it once destroyed.

If I could joke in this thread, I would say that Sonic sees that the Death Egg 2 is still around little planet and that he goes to SEGA's office and complains to Dark Lord Omega Jesus Batman Godly Iizuka about the crappy ending.

But since it's not that kind of thread, Robotnik does some sort of last resort plan involving kidnapping Chuckles' Wife, the Master Emerald. I don't care what, as long as it doesn't involve Silver, rehashed plot from Sonic3K, more Sonic CD crap, and Godmonsters.

But the one thing that it needs to include is Super Big Eggy. Heck Yeah.

Honestly, this all seems like the best course for ending things. I prefer the idea to stop it at 3. 4, while curious to see other zones from Little Planet, I'm not sure how I'd feel about them dragging it out to Episode IV. III would have to be pretty phenomenal for me to even want that...
