Guess what was one MILLION times better than E3? The Google Keynote Address, that's what!
Highlights:
- Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Officially Announced
- Google Voice Search looks sweet
- Nexus 7 Jellybean-enabled tablet announced, only $200 (!!!)
- Google Q, looks pointless if you already have a CD, DVD, or MP3 player (or HDMI cable)
- Android games look better than ever on Nexus 7
- Google Maps with gyrometer support (looks like you're actually there)
- SKYDIVING
- GOOGLE GLASS!!!
That was by far the BEST conference I've seen so far. A new, cheap tablet, stunning new features for at home or on the go, and a whole athletic performance to show off a new product. Simply impressive. Even though only two games were shown, both of them look great and the conference as a whole runs laps around anything I saw at E3.
EDIT: Here's a rundown of some of the basic new features in Jelly Bean, and here's a Hands-On video of the Google Nexus. Didn't realize the live feed would be going this long... lol.
