It's only academic of Vivendi to dump Activision-Blizzard given its seen the peek of its value as console gaming margins and market size are now in a permanent decline course while costs escalate significantly.

The real story is... that there are no takers for Acti-Bliz given everyone in the industry knows its a bad investment that will erase billions of market cap in a flash over the next couple of years.

It will only be bought by some one looking to totally change its model to F2P, or some other shoddy scam in a pathetic attempt to keep rapidly dying mainstream console gaming alive.

Microsoft should buy them. Each CoD game alone earns billions alone, no DLC included. Microsoft would make the money back quickly.

The other Ips are a plus.

Hell, its been quite some time since a Guitar Hero game, if Microsoft made them make another at this time, it'd probably be successful.

Also, part of the added $10 charge added to XBL goes specifically to Activison, so Microsoft will probably be getting that money back as well, and all the extra console solds specifically to play CoD? The money would be made back quickly.

Also, why do people always say they're on a steep decline? Each CoD game sells more and more, Black Ops 2 is already on track to sell more than MW3. Skylanders was a huge success and so was Diablo 3 and etc.

What am I doing with my life.

Activision can go, I don't frankly care for many of their IP's. Blizzard however needs to stay away as far as possible from any one of the big 3, ESPECIALLY Microsoft.
