What country are you from? US has Yakuza 3 DLC, which is just 2P stuff anyway, useless.

    Yas' Goodbye: http://forums.sega.com/showthread.ph...12394;ら

Yakuza 5, nobody knows the status as of yet. Kickstarter idea was already an idea awhile back:

I agree with S3please, translated Kenzan and Yakuza 5.

Translating a game is not as easy, I already asked Yas awhile back on this topic, even suggested if he can use the already translated version on youtube.

Maybe after 5, if they are posting profit again, they can release a big pack like Yakuza 1 thru 5, or start working on 6 for the next-gen consoles.

I'm from Canada, and I know that U.S has Y3 DLC, but they don't have the premium pack that Japan has for free (only available through brand new copies until last year). The premium pack (battle pack in uk) has stuff like "All-Star Tournament, All-Star Tag Tournament, Battle For Survival (face all bosses straight without dying as Kazuma) and Haruka's Request (This unique series of challenge missions will send Kazuma on a task of exploration throughout the entire Yakuza 3 world, playing minigames and entertaining Haruka (completed game save file required to access content)." That was all taken from Wiki by the way. That stuff seems more interesting than 2 player mini-games and costumes, and we can never have it. Does that make sense even though it's already in the PSN archives? All they have to do is post it for $ or free, simple as that. Thanks for the Yas link, I looked it up previously. I know Kickstarter was an idea, but it needs to be brought to their attention more. I think they have too much pride because they're "SEGA" and all that nonsense to take money from us to build on their projects. That's the funny part too about the KHHSUBS release of Kenzan's translation. They could use that! Why loaft? Get to work if you really want money. No one wants this garbage they shove in our face. And I hope they can profit with Yakuza 5, but that's a large risk for them to only rely on that for profit, because like I said earlier, I don't know a single game in Japan that has been able to sell without localization over 1 million. That's one of the reasons why this was made. This stuff can be done between now and Yakuza 5, to hype the game more so they actually have a reason to release it over here. Right now, imo Dead Souls ruined the series over here (from a SEGA perspective, but that's entirely their fault) and it wasn't even wanted is the most messed up thing! It hardly sold diddly worldwide. Sure there were some fans that wanted the game, but it wasn't begged like Kenzan, The Last Story, Xenoblade Chronicles, etc. For them to put so much time and effort into a game to localize just because it has zombies in it is sad, honestly. Makes us look pretty messed up in the West. If they want to succeed, Kenzan must come. It's the MAIN thing right now. If that's successful, then possibly other ideas off my list can come to life too. Until then, Kenzan must happen. MUST.

Am I the only one that's willing to pay $60 for a game made in 2008 digitally or physically??? SEGA's gotta know this stuff, although they already do. I think they look at us like jokes to tell you the truth. They don't take us seriously at all.

Canada did get those challenges. It was a preorder bonus.

I know because I'm from Canada and I got them.

I can see all of those ideas as digital releases on the PSN.

I wouldn't mind Kenzan, even if it was watered down like Yakuza 3 was for North America. Same goes with the Black Panther PSP games.

Hopefully we will see these games eventually and Valkyria Chronicles 3, especially during those in-between newer Sega game releases.

I know they were pre-orders dude, I stated that in my list under Yakuza 3. They just were never made available again. Same with the code in the Yakuza 4 case. "New copy or gtfo. Oh wait, they expired. Tough luck." says SEGA lol.

I couldn't see those games coming out here watered down after Y3. That's THE WORST thing to do. Especially for Kenzan which has more popularity than the Black Panther games combined. I would still buy it, but I would regret my purchase for funding their mistakes and think twice about ever dealing with SEGA again if that's what they're gonna do with every Yakuza game that comes West, regardless of the outburst from fans. It's an insult to the fans and a kick in the balls to Yas like,

SEGA America Employee #1: "Oh damn dude, did Yas say the fans DID or DIDN'T want the complete game with all the stuff that we assume they don't understand because our culture is so much different than theirs?"
SEGA America Employee #2: "Dude, they did want it, but who cares? Less work for us AND their pre-orders just funded Sonic Unleashed 2!"
SEGA America Employee #1: "AWESOME! "

If Kenzan was to come to the west, I honestly cannot see any way it could come without some of the content cut. It's not a case of "the western players won't understand the culture" either. One substory immediately comes to mind - The one where you help a kid out with his Kanji homework. I cannot think of any possible way they could put that into an English version.

yeah I can totally see that one not working

The majority though could work. I love the Bounty Hunter missions in Kenzan.

Yes you're right. That is very true. Certain things probably wouldn't come down here due to the fact that we LITERALLY won't be able to understand, but other then that, all content better stay intact. NICE SUBS FOR KENZAN TOO DUDE! You thinking about doing one of the PSP spin-offs?

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the substory revolve only around the language? Maybe they can easily turn it into a different subject and change the questions. Math maybe? I don't know. It's a possibility, but I won't know until I see it for myself. Some things could be replaced instead of permanently scrapping it from the game. Like what is this Answer X Answer thing I keep hearing about that's been cut from all the western releases? Can it be replaced with something else, but still stay as Answer X Answer? SEGA's gotta think about stuff like that, because in the end some of us feel cheated. Me, frankly I don't care as long as a good 85-95% is still in the game.

Dreaming? No. DAYdreaming on the other hand with lemonade in one hand and a cigarette in the other relaxing on my lawnchair. Maybe lol
At least you took in that they're actually ideas and not demands. Oh how I wish they could at LEAST do 25% of what I wrote down, but my bet is 5% or under knowing SEGA.
