I was hoping that they would do more popular IPs. Yeah, they should be old and forgotten by most modern gamers and kids, but they should have been popular in their day.

They are, Golden Axe, Nights, Jet Set Radio and Panzer Dragoon are all well respected Sega franchises, the guy was just making us intrigued at the obscure IP track which could be anything. It depends on the level of obscurity like for some Altered Beast could be obscure but then not for others.

    What IPs are you missing?

So far all IPs shown had been popular back in the day, and still remembered until today.

Hmm. For the sequel to ASR, there's going to be one course for each different franchise. This could be really tough.
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing has brought up the great overall. And now, the sequel to such an incredible sega racing competition will soon commence...

Well I'm impressed with the NiGHTS track.
That seems to capture the original level really well, heck they all do.

What? How is Cool Spot related to SEGA?

It's also an unofficial 7-Up Mascot.

@KMetalmind: Not really...most were loved by a small fanbase.

The Dreamcast has its fair share of some really obscure stuff of its own, or at least games folks know of, but NEVER talk about. SEGA Swirl, Ooga Booga, 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker, Outrigger, Blue Stinger, Alien Front Online, just to name a few. Heck, imagine if they surprised us with a stage from SEGA Bass Fishing combined with Seaman.

Well, that's understandable, since they removed all 7-UP ads and logos from the Cool Spot game for its release outside the US. But just to to give the insight, yes, Cool Spot was the mascot for 7-UP. He was the red spot you'd see on the 7-UP, just donned with cool shades because it was a trend in the 90's.
