Umm, my bid would be this., A silhouette of Sonic and Tails running across a blue screen, after they pass, the screen flashes red and the silhouette of Knuckles runs across the screen.

It's either they are going to keep the co-op or they are going to give each character a separate level. Because dimps is not capable of creating levels based around multiple characters they resort to these crazy workarounds.

Behold, the Knuckles and Tails summon gimmick, find yourself in need an air life, summon Tails, got a breakable wall in your way towards the goal, summon Knuckles to break it.

I still hope that Knuckles has a move where he can tunnel underground like the wisp in Sonic Colors. Then Sonic & Tails can roll up and spin down the tunnels he creates.

uhmmm, Tails landing somewhere afar from Sonic, having Sonic landed on the Angel Island, knuckles would spot sonic's cockpit and would go to see what's going on, in a co-up or single player mode both would try to stop the death egg once more having tails to go pick up the tornado and join the party lather, metal would come try to steal the master emerald for he's own purpuses as a twist to the story.

Metal's campaign would press on with you mainly taking control of an upgraded version of metal with new abilities this time around, going trought the same number of act's but with expanded territory metal only, where he would have to instead face other bosses, such bosses that could act as the revamped mini bosses and ultimatly reaching the Master emerald before both Sonic and Knuckles after an intense fight against both, such fight that would be also present in Sonic and Knuckles Campaign.

On the Trailer we would be shown the ending of Episode II and the start of Episode III with Sonic meeting Knuckles, seeing Tails picking up the Tornado and go for the Angel Isle, we would see both Solo and Co-up Modes, Elemental Shields brought back with upgraded abilities (which was already discussed to be possible), seeing new routes for each of the Characters you pick, seeing Metal brought back with even more action this time around, and an quick cutscene of both Sonic and Knuckles fighting agaisnt Metal for the Master Emerald.
