I wish SOA would communicate with us about these games for the possibility of a western release... "We are looking into it"..."Its on the table"...any type of announcement would be welcomed. Also hoping for a disc release, as I really like to expand my physical collection of the series.

That's what I hate about Sega. They always wait months after the Japanese release date before announcing the West localization. I mean decide the localization before the Japan release date not months later. That would save time for us and them to work on localization earlier. Win Win situation here.

I really wish Sega would say something about whether or not they're going to localize the HD Collection. I don't mind importing if that's the only option (I have the Sengoku Basara HD Collection on pre-order) but it's expensive and I only want to import if I know there's no chance of the game getting localized. I'd really love to get this game with English subtitles, but if it comes down to it, I can get through the JP version because I've played the first two games so much I have them pretty much memorized. I'm hoping that in the end, this collection will be released in the west because they already have the subtitles done, which should make the process quicker.

Sega isn't a person, it's a massive global corporation when you have a project like a game or whatever you have to run things by people and they have to have meetings and run things by other people, gather market info, have more meetings and like that. They can't just make a quick decision like that.

Is anybody from Sega actually read this? If profit is the issue with release Kensai, the PSP spin-offs, Yakuza 1/2 HD, Yakuza 5, why doesn't Sega do this: For the West if you want the box edition, you have to order it online via the Sega store and Digital download for not buying it via their online store. So fans can get the game and Sega can be more cost effective about their IP. Also Sega needs to release Yakuza in Japan and the West in the same release-window.

Also did Sega come out and say why they refuse to release 3 games of their IP outside of Japan? Again if it's the cost the PSP games could come out DD only for the Vita/PSP.

Those of you who have pre-ordered the HD collection, where did you order it from? I'd really like to have the pre-order bonuses and considered buying from Play-Asia, but I don't know if they have the bonuses or not o__o Should I get my copy from cdjapan that clearly lists the pre-order bonuses on their site?

Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima Play Yakuza 1&2 HD
Sega shared a six minute video showing off Yakuza 1&2 HD. But not just a plain old video clip. Watch the voice actors for Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima play the HD remaster.

Let's wait and see if Sega is planning to release it here on December too,I believe in a couple of months period we'll know.

By the way I noticed a spelling error on Yakuza 3.On the sidestory 'An Old Gendleman's Memories' at the end of it where you fight the Yakuza for the 10 million, one of them says to Kiryu 'Who the do you think you are sticking your nose in where it don't belong'
