Kurohyou 2 (TV show) gets a dvd release with crappy english sub bootlegs to follow :)

Anyone get their copy of this yet? Regardless of how the subtitles are on the dvd's, someone should upload the .srt files for the unfortunate people that can't import. There's always a tv rip floating around. And please don't tell me to buy the dvd and support SEGA, because 1: I'm not buying a japanese dvd with no english subtitles so it can collect dust and never be translated, thus a waste of money and 2: The one I'm interested in buying (and everyone else seems to have on this forum, you know what I'm talking about. Season one ;] ) will go nowhere near SEGA's pockets. That's obvious enough.

Pretty much, I just wanna watch the show (just like the first season) or at least get a preview of it (just like the first season, a group subbed the first 4 episodes but they were crap. Still better than nothing though.) seeing as we don't get to watch it over here for free like japan does probably every Sunday night when the show was running. I ended up buying the dvd with english subtitles later after I got a taste of it though, because my collection feels incomplete without it (just like Kurohyou 1 and 2 :[ ) So for whoever has bought this DVD (Kurohyou 2), can they please rip the subtitles for other people to watch?

I don't mind ripping the subs for the first season, but honestly you will be disappointed. You will literally facepalm at the names they use, the broken sentences, etc. Me, I don't mind because I can at least slightly understand what's still going on. If you want them that bad though, then let me know.

You know, it would be REALLY awesome if they added this option for the games as well. That way, importing wouldn't be a problem for most people.

As for the show, I've seen a little bit but I did like what I saw. I'd like to watch all of it eventually.

Well it's not SEGA that's putting these crappy english subs out, so if the people who did the DVD's were to do something like this, it would be considered EXTREMELY illegal and probably wouldn't work for us anyways unless we had custom firmware on our PSP's. This group is probably just some pirates that want to make a quick dollar on Ebay or Amazon. Unfortunately PSP's have copy protection unlike DVD videos where you can pretty much pop them into any dvd player and it will work. Lol. It would be a great idea though. God I want the game in english subs waiting on KHHSUBS to do the two games so I can actually start the story and not run around in free-roam on Kurohyou 2 and beat the crap out of everyone. I haven't touched the story mode and I've already put 40 hours into the game. Wish it was online lol

Ordered the machine subbed ones. They really are atrocious but since we're NEVER likely to see a release over here I'll take what I can get.

As much as I'd love to do those PSP games, finding time to work on them isn't so easy, unfortunately Remember, I do everything myself (recording the footage, translating the text, proofreading the text and making changes if necessary, video editing/putting the subs onto the video footage (this is by far the most time consuming part of the whole process), encoding the videos, and finally - uploading onto the channel). I spend many, many hours in total for each individual part of the Kenzan stuff. You also have to bear in mind that I do this at my leisure - I don't get paid for this, after all! So, though I don't like it, I am forced to put the project relatively low on my list of priorities, behind doing the stuff that actually gets me income. I'm lucky though; I am currently doing work from home with no set hours (basically, as long as I get it done by a certain date, that's fine - I can make my own hours), so I can be flexible with dedicating hours to the Kenzan project Ideally, I'd like to have the whole main story finished by early september, though whether I achieve that or not depends on how many hours I can afford to dedicate to it.

I have to say that the kurohyou 2 subs aren't the worst I've seen but it was sad to see the names really messed up
the letter of secretary = shinji lol

Another weird thing is how the put the video and subs together in this one
in kurohyou 1 everything was merged first 6 eps on disc 1 other 5 on disc 2

but in kurohyou 2 eps are separate but subs some of them are merged which is annoying for editing
ep 1-3, 4, 5-6, 7-8, 9, 10-11

because editing names isn't too tuff when you know what to change

need help on something the guy with the glasses with the president whats his name?
also makoto and ryou's friend the one that died whats her name?
in the dvd subs it says qi wood but it sounds like zaki or something so if someone could help me that would be great as im not great at names of people in japanese

edited alot of the kurohyou although its not perfect yet
kurohyou 1 first 5 eps i've fully edited others just names
kurohyou 2 first 3 eps i've fixed alot of names

soon i'll post a new version of kurohyou 2 subs which will have most of the names fixed in all eps
it wont make it perfect but alot less confusing since the names are correct

Just for people who wants to know how certain things should've been

Left what they should be in Kurohyou 2

Ukyo Tatsuya ---> sometime ukyo is correct tatsuya usually dragon or long

Sakaki Tenma ---> pegasus

Saitou Tamotsu ---> paul

Hoshino Ryouga ---> hoshino correct but ryouga can be random

Akita Yasuto ---> akita is usually correct if not random

Nozaki Ryou ---> bright, nozaki is usually correct (if it isnt its always beside bright anyways)

Nioka Kouzou ---> different but usually with "two"

Mizushima Aya ---> color ayaka water

Iijima Kenji ---> Iijima is correct, his name kenji doesnt pop up much in eps still double checking....

Yagi Makoto ---> cheng or prudential

Sakamoto Shinji ---> letter of the secretary *issue when it does say shinji in original subs it doesnt mean shinji himself*

mr (alone) ---> sensei (refers to the president/major)

dragon heat ---> hot or fury

kamuro district ---> god muromachi

ashura ---> same but without h

??? ---> qi wood
