How do I get the game to start?

After downloading the game and it apparently quickly patching it wotn start...if I try starting it up from the quick launch icon it made on my desktop it says it cant find the program...if I go to the folder it updates gameguard then nothing happens...if I try to start it up again it shows me the little square logo of phantasy star online 2 and it loads like trying to start the game but quickly dissapears and nothing happens.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Im on windows 7 and have tried compatibility mode with w98 and nothing worked.

I usually have the same problem =<, i am now attempting to reeinstall, worked fine untill today's patch *sob sob*.
