Sega, can we get Yakuza Kenzan English translation via digital release, please?!

If Yakuza Kenzan is sold for $19.99 or $29.99 on PSN, perhaps timed to coincide with either or both the release of Yakuza 1 & 2 collection or Yakuza 5, and the projected sales revenues exceed the translation cost, please release the game.

I think a big Yakuza promotional western release orgy where Yakuza 5, Yakuza 1&2 HD collection and Yakuza Kenzan English translation are all shot at fans in one load would be an excellent way to stir major hype and kind of relaunch the series in the west.

It will be interesting if we see how well Way of the Samurai 4 sells on PSN. I feel like that game will set the tone for digital distribution of niche titles.

"After all this waiting", retail would get sh*tty sales. I like physical copies as much as you, but some things just can't happen, financially speaking.

The fact is that once they have done the translation, the most difficult part, they can easily do the retail edition (Sega can afford 1 retail every 100 DD releases).
As retail they can expect the same yakuza western sales, as DD they could really expect sh**ty sales.
I even doubt that a Yakuza could fit as a DD, a 20Gb game goes far beyond the limits of a digital release.

In any case, I almost give up on Kenzan since Yas Noguchi left Sega and now with yakuza 1&2 in the way it's even more difficult for a western kenzan.

Sounds like a damn good idea. The promotional opportunities are there to tie PSN digital releases of Yakuza with the the western release of Yakuza 5 and/or Yakuza 1&2 HD collection.
