"Best" fan game ever? My god Nick, you must be exaggerating.

To be honest, it looks like one of those mediocre mobile platformers.
But hey, I might give it a whirl and see for myself."

Seriously, dude? Well to be more frank, it is one of the most ORIGINAL "Sonic" fan games ever, which added to the fun gameplay, makes it great in my book. It's so fresh I almost feel bad associating it with Sonic at all.

While it's pretty good, I wouldn't say it's that fresh, it feels more like a mix of Rayman and Sonic.

As for the graphics, I found them just a teensy iffy at first when this was still in the beta phase, because it's not what I felt they "should" be, but they've really grown on me. The colors are so soft and rich and it has such a great atmosphere. Considering the bits they had to work with, the art direction makes up for the graphical limitations. Please also keep in mind that in action, the game looks MUCH better than it does in my constipated livestream. Overall, it's much more inspired that most UUUUUGLYYYYYYYY fan games I've seen.

And no, Hyper, we are not exaggerating. No need to be condescending about it.

Just an FYI, you can quite someone's post by pressing "Reply With Quote", which quotes their post for you instead of you having to do it manually, as shown here.

From the looks of it, I wouldn't really call it a Sonic fangame (though the elements of the game are extremely similar to that of Sonics) it does look fun and well developed for a fangame. I might try it out.

I dont see whats so special about. Its basically a fighting game with some Sonic elements thrown into it. And some platforming.

What do you expect, a boostfest? The escape section at the end was SO MUCH MORE THRILLING then the one in Leaf Storm in Sonic Rush. It's original in its atmosphere and it plays well. What else is needed?

Newsflash: You're not the only person who matters in the world. And Sonic Rush is still considered one of the games that kept Sonic alive.
