If there's a SEGA All Stars about fighting, which style would you prefer?

I put 2D brawler, but I'd definitely be up for a Power Stone-esque 3D brawler, too. Wouldn't have to worry about people complaining that it was a Smash Bros. clone.

A traditional fighter would be a bad idea. Those games tend to have a high learning curve unless you're already into the genre, and one of the All-Star franchise's strengths is its accessibility.

Tradtional 2D or 3D fighter. 3D sounds more likely.

DEFINITELY not a traditional fighter. Sega has ALWAYS been about all-ages fun and traditional fighters are just too complex and stiff for kids to get into. Do kids play them? Ya, but because of lack of better options. Kids in ANY demographic would rather play a Smash Bros/Power Stone style game, games which feel as much like open world action games as boring fighters.

Now listen Sega/SUMO: by kid friendly do I mean kiddie/easy/cute? HECK NO! I mean cool and fun. The target audience should be a 13 year old. Sega rose to the top when it was cool. But then they started to veer away from cool to cute and weird with games like Space Channel 5 and characters like Big the Cat. Are those types of games and characters good? Ya, but they turn away people concerned with cool, which happens to be a BIG chunk of the game demographic
