Had the PS3 bit been longer I think it would have beat out PS2 for most humorous of the bunch XD
Wait, what?! Why on earth were they ever trying to develop without using the SPU's?The SPUs seem like they should be really awesome, but not for anything you or anyone else is doing. ...*some time later*... Most people try to stick to working with the CPU, but it can’t handle the workload. A few people dig deep into the SPUs and, Dear God, they are fast!
What were these people thinking? @_@

Unltimate victory: To all the people saying Nintendo isn't dead: We get it.
Game development becomes easier over time when developers learn the hardware well enough. It also explains why so many launch titles are mediocre even though the developers may have been working with the development kits for close to 2 years prior to launch. It also explains why many early PS3 games were inferior to the Xbox 360 versions. Sony had been bragging about system specs, giving numbers and statistics and that's what most people on the internet go by. There were a lot of people who thought PS3 would be the mother of all game consoles. A lot of people don't realize it's not that simple.
The answer is one future standard hardware platform.
