And if you don't like the negativity towards Sonic 4 - consider that behind all the smiles and "you guys are awesome" nonsense, Sega really don't give aabout you... no matter how many copies of their games you buy. So defending them and Sonic 4 is a waste of time for that reason, and also because you're not going to stop us complaining anyway.
DISCLAIMER: This banner is not in any way directed at people who are fans of Sonic 4.
But yeah really, I don't think the people complaining about complainers are really that mad or seriously stressed out over the negativity, (unless they are, and that's just sad, because...) I mean how hard is it to put certain people on ignore lists, avert their eyes and scroll down any negative comments that they see or just turn off their computer, go outside and kiss their b/gf or something? It might be hypocritical if you look at the big picture, but everything, and I mean everything about the Sonic 4 board just reeks of /wahfirstworldproblems.
If they will make GOOD Episode 3 - then the negativity will weaken.
"My suggestion would be to expect few to no physics changes, so that if or when you do notice any minor updates in the final game, you’ll appreciate them."
Read his post again, he said it would weaken the negativity around this game.
For example, Colors and Generations still gets criticism and negativity, but it was nowhere near as bad or as unbearable compared to to all of the hate, flame wars, drama, confrontations, finger pointing, and labeling that has scarred this board.
We didn't get a stupid petition publicized, a (serious) green eyes rant video, or have tons of threads shut down and deleted by mods across multiple websites for those games as we did with 4. Even some critics were cringing at some of the fans' utter hatred for it.
Yes, negativity is inevitable for any game, but who cares; especially if the game in question receives so little of it, then it's nothing really all that sad.
