Gr8 ideas tikal especially 4,6 and 7. Online Multiplayer is a must have and i would love remixes of tracks so gamers could choose wheather they prefer the original or the remix to listen to while playing.
Here are some of my hopes/ideas
1. Avatar awards e.g. Chao Pet, Shadow and Rouge unlockable costumes
2. Unlockable Gamer Pics/Dashboard Theme
3. Speedrun Acheivements e.g. Beat City Escape in 2 mins
4. Dreamcast Mode - Play in the original Dreamcast Graphics or HD
5. Sound Test complete with remixes

Also i know SEGA couldnt do this but here goes

6. Voice Actor Mode. Play SA2 with original voice cast or todays voice cast. e.g. Ryan Drummond as Sonic or Roger Craig Smith as Sonic etc

Here are a couple of ideas that would make me buy Sonic Adventure 2 HD (since I already own it on Gamecube)

-Reworked Tails/Eggman mode: Tails plays outside the mech, but keeps the cannon from Sonic Battle to shoot. He can now Fly as he does in Chao Garden. Eggman rides his Eggpod instead of the walker, which plays just like Tails.

-Reworked Knuckles/Rouge mode: The radar locates ALL of the emeralds at the same time, instead of one by one.

-Online Multiplayer

-(Tikal's idea): Big and Gamma added to Multiplayer mode.

-Extra Characters mode: Play as Amy, Metal Sonic, Gamma, Big, Tikal, and Chaos in regular Adventure mode (no Cutscenes).

-Extra ability upgrades.

1. I personally won't like if they do that, you can already use the drives to not get the animal effect.

5. Maybe a character select at the levels so you can play the stages as other characters when you unlocked it from the story mode.
7. I think the bg music is already great as it is.
8. I'd love having those chao, but I think they should be gotten on a more special way.

But as it's a port I don't really expect that much to be added. Maybe they'll add some DLC if many people buy it though?

Add Big back into the Multiplayer mode.
Give each character in multiplayer an unlockable alternate costume.
Add back in the Big cameos in the scenes and stages.
Add in a Cream cameo like SADX had.
Add the multiplayer characters into Kart mode. Ex. Tikal, Amy, and Chaos
