Which do you prefer, and why?
I used to be all about MSN, cuz it had image sharing, custom emoticons and that thing where you could play sounds or make voice recordings. maybe Skype has all that stuff too IDK, but it always seemed like the more formal thing to talk on.
I use Skype more now because my MSN contacts are prettymuch dead and everyone uses Skype these days. Plus now that Microsoft own Skype, MSN's not gonna exist for much longer
(waits to be hounded by haters)
NEVER USE COMIC SANS. #bancomicsans
I don't chat online. :V
You do realise MSN is going to merge with Skype aigh?
Skype is the most form of IMing I have ever experienced. Hell even XAT is better than it.
MSN feels comfy but is horribly glitchy. But at least it's comfy!
I'm still on MSN. I never bothered with Skype much because I don't really have a real use for it. That's what my phone is for... or seeing the person in-person is for.
But it looks like either way I'll have to go back soon with the merger.
The Skype UI is revolting and just plain sinful. I'm not going to enjoy this "upgrade" once Microsoft decides to make it mandatory. I don't video chat or call or anything, so seeing all those incessant buttons littered across the program does nothing but irritate me.
Maybe I just don't know how to use it well, but it lacks my beautiful lime green font color, image and video sharing, gif avatars, etc. I don't get why everybody's so gung-ho about it.
