locked threads
This sucks I got my poll threads locked cause I had recruitment info on them. Multiple threads on the same topic. But if I were to take the polls to general or a off topic they would give me crap about throwing my recruitment reply in and tell me that it belongs in Recruiting.
I would like to have more than one Poll running at a time. I would like to be allowed to seek information on more than one topic at a time and of course they are going to have contact info for joining my squad, I am recruiting and when you are recruiting or seeking information about recruiting you should post, where?
And, also, in addition to, plus Our first thread was started by my brother and the second, first poll, thread by myself. Yes the third poll thread the one titled, POLL looking for a squad that plays 24/7.... may have been better if I had not used the recruitment pitch in the subject when the poll was for the best Role Type but the fact that the first message was a recruitment pitch I figured it best to keep it in Squad recruiting other than General. where every one and their mod would give me greef about keeping it in recruiting where it belongs.
Anyways, all venting aside, sorry about the multi threads and I guess that I will just leave the polls out of it and just let my desire to find out what members look for in a squad and how other squads could better the play experience in there squad for their members subside, atleast in squad recruiting.
What do you think? Was it fair to lock my polls or should I have just been contacted and asked to stop the multi threading?
I understand the problems that can arise from allowing multi threaders to dominate a forum but I think that it was a little harsh too kill the threads that I actualy watched I should have been contacted first.
I must bump your thread to say: My squad (Chrome Goons) played yours last night, and it won my vote for "Best Squad Name Ever," edging out "Christ Punchers" as the name that made me laugh the most. Plus, you guys were pretty damn solid, so here's a cheer for The Yes Tasties.

The mods choose to lock multi-threads as its considered as spamming the forum which is against the t&c's of the forum, plus it keeps the recruitment side of things fair and equal as all squads that are recruiting are entitled to the same about of space, creating multiple threads recruiting for the same squad is kinda monopolising the forum and is considered unfair, and will only lead to other squads creating multiple threads like yours (to prove a point now Fates Hand seem to be following suit with now 2 threads so It wouldnt surprise me if one of those threads gets locked too).
Dont take it too personally mate, its nothing directly against you they're just enforcing the terms and conditions that SEGA have laid out and thus doing their job.
