Default Forum Update -Anti Spam Service

*Forum spam not actually a spam product

Today's post is all about - Forum Spam. Yep!

We recently added a tool to help monitor the problem we've been having with spam posts across the SEGA forums. So far we've had pretty positive results, but with any tool that has the potential to block people, we wanted to make an announcement with links to support.

For nearly everyone on the forums, this will never be an issue, but for the few that register and encounter an issue, there is help to be had! Simply click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page and send a detailed message of what you are seeing, and we'll investigate.

Thanks to everyone's assistance in flagging spam posts that you see on the forums, it has been incredibly useful and has helped make this tool even more effective.

This is great to hear. It'll be nice not having so much spam to deal with clogging up the forums. I try to help out when I can, lol.

    Lol, nice.

How does it work? An anti-spam-bot-bot? The despamminator?

No, there's no way this could affect that. Can you use the contact us link to email a message out that we can send to developers? Also a good chance to check your spam filter in case any emails were flagged incorrectly.
