Default KC2: How to Effectively Collect & Use Sigils

Sigils are essential to expanding your Home Territory, and they can sometimes be in short supply. Itís important to watch your Quest log carefully for Quests that reward you with Sigils, because the more space you have available, the more Facilities you can build. By extension, this helps every part of your effort to conquer more territory in Magna.

There are a few different kinds of Sigils youíll need as you expand your Home Territory. The first tier you can expand into requires Lordís Sigils. The second and the majority of the third (except for the corners) require Wisdom Sigils. The final 3 areas (far bottom right, far bottom left, and far bottom) are the final areas that can be unlocked in your Home Territory, and are unlocked with Bravery Sigils.

Itís important to collect and save Sigils until you need them for a quest. The reason for this is that if you spend your Sigils on something thatís not the objective of a Quest, you may find yourself short on Sigils, and scrambling to complete other Quests that donít give you Sigils, just to unlock ones that do. Trust us, this isnít fun! So save your sigils, and wait for a Quest to ask you to unlock a specific area. That being said: if you have more than enough Sigils to go around, donít worry about unlocking an area or two. Just leave enough to unlock any area a Quest might ask you to expand into!

You can find out how many Sigils you have by tapping an area once, so that it lights up, and then tapping it again to open the Details screen. Youíll see all the Rewards for unlocking that Area, as well as how many Sigils it costs to expand into, and how many you have stocked up.

You can tell if a Quest will reward you with Sigils by looking for the Crown next to the Quest Logo, or by looking manually through the Quest List and checking all the Rewards. If you donít see any Quests that give you Sigils, complete other quests, and more quests will be unlocked!

Very key there. Don't simply expand from left to right on any given tier. Take a look at what you'll gain from opening up an area. More often than not, it's worth skipping an area or two in order to unlock one that'll increase things such as the number of facilities or the number of bases you can own. If an area doesn't provide anything more than resources and isn't needed for a quest, leave it and come back to it later when you've got sigils to spare.

Good point, but now that I have gotten to the point of only needing bravely sigils, I actually have wisdom sigils left over, and will still get some once I complete certain quests.

If you want to speed up the bravely collection - make sure to clear the two level 7 mines as soon as you can. You can do those before the level 8 opens up. You'll need to clear (but not remove) those before you're allowed to hit the level 8. If the two level 7s are clear, and you have an army that can take on the 8, you can get enough bravely sigils to open up all three lands almost immediately after you hit 200. (Also be sure to have a couple of high resource building projects ready since you're going to get a whole lot of resource rewards quests most likely already cleared as soon as you hit 200. I think I expanded 2-3 great warehouses to make sure the resources weren't wasted).
