Default Successor to Castlevania up on Kickstarter.

From the main man behind Castlevania for years (Koji Igarashi) comes our "not Castlevania" just like we have "not Mega Man".

It is titled Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and is planned for PS4, XB1, Wii-u, PS Vita, and Steam (PC/Mac/Linux).

Castlevania has been my favorite thing from Konami, so it is good to see that their blunders won't sacrifice one of my favorite franchises.

    Funding complete.

    Goal success percentage: 100%

    Achievement unlock percentage: 100%

What a crazy world we live in, We have a not mega man game, not banjo kazooie game and now a not castlevania game. Can't wait for the not Metal gear solid game in the near future.

Already hit their final goal of $850,000 since before 6:00 PM PST. I wonder what their next goals will include...

I guess there is demand for our platformers of old (well not that old). Right now my only option is PC, as I have no intention of owning a PS4 or XB1 in the near future, but I would consider Wii-u if they reached that far (really dislike the 360 controller for 2D games).

    $1,000,000 - Cheat Codes
    $1,250,000 - Local Co-op

Pretty expensive cheat codes if you ask me
Signatures sucks, especially signature images. Which is why I have them off, so I never see the blasted things.

Local Co-op could be interesting, and I do expect it to reach that as well. Though something tells me it would only be for console versions, as I am not aware of any PC games that utilize local play that isn't LAN.

This game running on unreal 4 is moronic. The graphics are so simple it should just run off its on unique engine or it should run off a seriously outdated engine like the source engine.

Also im in no way feeling the visual art style. Looks like a cheap flash game. Hate the style.

The fact that it isnt running on source just like every other KS game means this will be good

What kickstarter games used Source? I can't think of any at the moment, while there are plenty of kickstarter games that use Unity.

Damnit. First Yooka Laylee and now this. It's like the greatest games are coming courtesy of Kickstarter.
