Well I scanned and scanned, and scanned some more but couldn't find a thread anywhere about NA makers so I decided to make one!!! I tend to use either the large expiremental NA from Morskov or the large one from tarakia. What NA do you use?

either the really tiny one from sal kar, or the large lotto one from tarakia
i like the 1201 range odd one frmo moskoj lottery. for most maps u can see a base from the enemies and its nice to know quickly which bases are clear.
also helps to see scouts rushing.
I use the largest taraiken NA the other countries NA's are to heavy.I would use the sal-kar NA's but I think the Network is too small.![]()
I run the Alkwan (sp?). Range is not the issue. I use my teammates to secure forward combases so I can see further. I have also started a tactic of making my forward units my eyes. We check for flags and visual sighting of enemy units. It works pretty well. We then lay back and setup an ambush. It is amazing how few people bring in a TC. What are they thinking???
I tend to go with the smallest NA (the Sal Kar experimental one), but I do have a mech with the Morskoj NA with 1200 range and one double cannon on quads. I usually just use this one in matches with 5+ players on maps where there aren't many COMBAS towers near the base.
You're gonna need to take COMBAS towers if you don't roll with your squad so the size of the NA doesn't matter in most cases. And even when you do roll with the squad, you need to take a couple towers just so everyone can communicate continuously.
If we have 6 people playing one of the other guys uses his monster NA, I think it's an experimental Morskoj one.
If we have basically anything less than that I use the smallest experimental Sal Kar NA at 833lbs. But then our guys fan out to take COMBAS so that I can get a look at things. The 4 howitzers, medium cockpit, armor and heavy gen that I all get to use on my inverse legs makes up for the fact that the NA is small, since I can actually fight very effectively and with great durability.
What's even more fun in a chaotic game, and which we had last night, was to have the one guy be the main TC with his huge NA but I still brought my TC/HVG hybrid.
I should have figuredon this but never thought about it but, our NAs linked and I could see all he could see and vice versa. We owned a very fast squad that was trying to turn the match into a COMBAS race with us after their heavies got taken down.
Having basically two TCs, meant two of us tracking these two fast dudes... the lines were a-flurry of tactical info on location and how to head off the fast guys. One guy could have hardly kept up... it was quite interesting, and effective. He stayed in the center of the map, and I moving at about 135 was taking the lower edges of the map.
I like to use the larger sal kar one (Nahjm or something like that maybe)
(think it weighs 1200lbs and has a range of about 847 I think) I find for weight to range ratio it seems to be one of the best. And it's still a managable size for most places on a hound.
My TC Storm has a 617 Range Sal Kar NA, only does 140 but is tough

I also built a ligher faster TC using the lighest weight Sal Kar one on Garfields that does 184

It depends, on a full commander, I use the biggest one I can lay my hands on (Morskoj Experimental)
On the other hand, my second favorite is the tiny Bell NA. It has a very small cross section, so you can technically put it on your back and it wont be seen. Thus people won't know you are the TC or not. It has semi-decent range too, and helps make the commander a worse target to hit than those massive Morskoj NA's.
Sure its not the strongest, but it makes it more like a squad leader in the field, then a general who sits back at base viewing satellite feeds.
I also put the heavy Morskoj NA jammers on my Commander. (I don't have any of the lighter Tarakian ones). That is still 100 seconds of invisible time to enemy NA.
I want to try a squad tactic of fast mechs and NA Jammers to storm the enemy, but I can't find a squad to try it.
