Cannot connect to some free battles
Hey when I click in the lobby and pick a free battle game when I click on the game it won't allow me to connect. It says it cannot establish a connection. I check the latency and normally pick the one with the cycle. I checked my ip settings and my NAT is open. This started happening about a month ago and I stopped playing but missed the game and wanted to play again. Any reason why this is happening? I have a linksys router WRT54G which is compatible with live.
Do you have a static ip set for your 360 ? I found that nearly all my connection problems disappeared when I changed from a dynamic ip with my 360 in the dmz (which showed an open NAT), to a static ip with port forwarding configured.

2) Where do I change from a dynamic IP to a static IP address?
3) What are the port forwarding codes I should use?

Hi I went into my router and found DMZ, I enabled it and put the ip address I found on my xbox set up page for IP address.
Is this what you were talking about? Before I had DMZ host disabled.
