the only problem I see is that most crossover games I have heard of are 2d which makes it a bit easier. I don't think they could do that with Virtua Fighter because its so different from the other 3d fighters. A Tekken vs. Soul Calibur might work because they are made by the same company and play similar. Plus the already had Heihachi in Soul Calibur so its not too much of a stretch. The way VF works is just to different to make it work I think.

Cough* I was thinking about the two major 3d rivalaries, Dead or Alive vs Virtua Fighters.

and we cann talk about the Soul Calibur thing later, just so you no SNK Playmore is making a new Samurai Showdown 3d games graphics looks stunning.

    Cough* back to topic :P

yeah I was seeing when these 2 monters will dual it out

Maybe but the only reason they made those Capcom vs. SNK games was because Capcom bought out SNK so they owned the rights to both series. Since DOA is owned by a different company that VF odds are it won't happen. There might be some small chance that they could work together but I just don't see it happening.

    Code:
Ahhh what!!!! Capcom didn't buy SNK!! NO way!! SNK was down in the dumps, Capcom did however pay for most of the project and help SNK just a lil, in the CAPCOM vs SNK series most of the money and profiets when to CAPCOM. and Soo after, SNK trademark was sold, and people thought it was all over for SNK because of it registered TradeMark name. But the man from SNK did it again, he bought back all the rights, but can't use the old name SNK, soo he created SNK Playmore. And now here they are kicking A** :-)

SNK and Capcom have been rivals, pretty much forever.

I still play old and new school games from both companies.
So, but the rivals need to duke it out. It's been a long and crazy
I think time for this is sooon!! Both of the gamer series have been rivals pretty much scence day one sooo

I will like to see another Fighters Megamix, but with Virtua Fighter mechanics. If Sega does create a sequel, I will like to see fighters from the Virtua Fighter and Fighting Vipers series, some original fighters, and without any of those ridiculous fighters from the first game. Does anyone think that Segata Sanshiro should be in this game

Are you serious? I loved the Ridiculous characters in FM, I thought they were great! If I wanted to play a serious fighting game on Saturn I would play VF2, if I wanted to play as a giant Duck, beating up a Daytona Car I had FM.

I would love to see another FM game from SEGA, but I would say they should take the concept even further this time, bring in VF and FV, and the wacky characters from FM (Hornet, Woof, Rentahero etc) but also they should include characters from other franchises like Shenmue, JSR, Skies, heck, even someone like Alex Kidd for the old school fans. It could be the equivalent of SSB, only with a much better fighting engine from VF.

Well, I prefer serious looking fighters for a sequel than those ridiculous fighters though I will like to play as Pepsi-Man since that is my favorite soda. I think Sega should create a another versus fighting game that can handle these characters. I also want to see a video clip of Segata Sanshiro challenging every V.F. and F.P. fighter while his song is played in the background.
