Is there any new Sonic TV serie's planned?

What i would like to know is if there are any new Sonic TV series in the works and if so, will it be a another unique storyline or is it going to run from sonic x?
I'd personally like to see the previous storylines merged nicely into one and for sega to stick to it. All these addtional storylines are only confusing newcomers.

Haven't you heard about Sonic GX? Its has all the characters from all the cartoons at different times throughout the series.

According to A Knothole Resident, Sega might possibly be planning some form of new type of continuity with Sonic that includes all forms of Sonic media, but 1 He's not very reliable, he's been half wrong before, and 2 he didn't know anything specific. and 3 It was a long time ago, so I don't really remember it well.

First of all, that's what happened to Archie for the most part. The only remnants of SatAM and AoStH have been horribly disfigured and are now almost unrecognizable. Trying to merge the storylines together does that. For instance, you can't have Eggman and Dr. Robotnik, so who do you choose? SEGA seems to like Eggman better, so there goes that part of SatAM.

It all comes down to making choices like that, which ends up taking the best parts of every storyline and leaving the worst parts mixed together. I'm not a fan of what that's done to Archie, and so doing it again would probably just make me mad.

Well not all the characters and elements would survive the merge anyway. But think of the conflict between Sally and Amy XD Would certainly add to the entertainment value. But a decent merge would mean a good number of things would be left out. The first sonic show with scratch and grounder can be left out of the merge as far as i am concerned. But would like to see Sally, Sonic's siplings along with the freedom fighters brought into the mix with Sonic X.

Besides the usual point of mergings is to take the best of each parts and put them togather in a decent and acceptable manner.

Oh and SatAm stuff doesn't nesscerly need to be dropped (reconfiged sure) they could say like the sonic from SatAM could be the father of the Sonic of the SOnic X area (granted it would mean droping tails from that era unless you want it to be the same way as with sonic) current sonic could have his siplings taken from SatAM/Undergroudn era and moved up to SOnic X era or they could just be sonic senior's siplings. And sense we haven't heard anything regarding Eggman's father. The SatAM/Underground era's robotnick could be eggman's father (after all SatAM never said one way or the other if robotnick secertly had a kid as unlikely as it may seem. But hes a guy he must have sexual erges too )

Well i ment the first one was inferior. However "Scratch" and "Grounders" models where in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis. Which is probably where the makers of Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog got there appreances from.

Cluck, Burrowbot and Coconuts were their own badniks before AoStH. There were no "Scratch", "Grounder" or "Coconuts" character models.

Yes, the last one made no sense. Coconuts the Sonic 2 badnik and Coconuts the SSSSSS Janitor are different.
