Default Gonna FINALLY play Mass Effect today: What should I expect?

Outside of a false start, I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, played Mass Effect at all. Today is the day I finally bury that aside and play the first ever Mass Effect game(On PC nonetheless).

What should I expect from this first entry in the series?

And P.S., I am creating a Female Shepard, because if I have the option, I'll do it.

It's a pretty good start to a new IP. Mass Effect 2, however, can be called one of the best WRPGs of all time.

Anyway, if you're familiar with the setup of Bioware games, you're good to go. It is pretty fun traveling all over the galaxy with your crewmates solving the main dilemma along with sidequests. (And yeah, one of the strongest things about ME IMO is its characters)

Kind of hard for me to put into words, but it's a good game and RPG.

Just got through the prologue on Eden Prime. And yeah. This time, I think I am going to go all the way. Later tonight, I'm gonna go all the way past the 2nd area: The Citadel.

I'm probably gonna do the entire Mass Effect Trilogy. Hell, the fact that I have these games say alot. But I'll play other games in between to keep it fresh in my head.
