Default How much does a Wii cost to make you ask?

    Graphics chip: $29.60
    CPU: $13.00
    DRAM: $7.80
    Optical disk drive: $31.00
    Power supply: $11.30
    Manufacturing cost: $19.50
    Cost total: $158.30

So Nintendo is making almost 50 dollars plus 50 for the store, and you said Nintendo wasn't cheap

Still doesn't mention the cost of things such as Wii remote/nunchuck, the sensor bar, shipping costs (especially with current gas fluctuation), & probably a few other minor factors I'm missing. Otherwise, let's criticize Nintendo for following the elementary economics concept for selling things for more than they cost to make.

    Only at Sega.com.... >.>

Blah, blah, blah, Sony & Microsoft sell their systems at a loss, & make up for it in royalty fees, selling accessories, game sales, & etc. That's a nice business plan when your primary source of income consists of MORE than just video games, where if your console doesn't sell very well (early PS3, & Xbox's Japanese sales in general), you aren't up a creek without a paddle.

Personally, with those high costs, I pretty much wished this generation was delayed a year or two.
    Currently awaiting......Whatever.

I really don't follow gaming news like I used to, but since when did Nintendo begin producing SD cards? Unless you mean the cards used for DS games, which I've only seen Square Enix charging that much for their games.
