Who is Sonic's real rival now?

I was playing Sonic Rivals the other day and was wondering who is Sonic's real rival.

Knuckles was it in the beginning but it settled down later.It isn't so serious anymore IMO.
Shadow was the first to rival Sonic's speed in SA2 but after that they didn't care so much for each other skills.
Silver was only back in time to kill Sonic but later in Rivals he took his mission so serious that he didn't care about everything else.
Jet was really a rival to Sonic in Riders.They did everything they could to beat each other.
And Metal? Was there from the beginning days and still wants to proof he is the real Sonic.

What do you guys think?

Because truels are less common than duels? I don't know, but I would like more focus on the rivalries outside of the Rivals series.

Sure, I was speaking of Sonic's rivalries, but it would be nice to put focus on other rivalries like Tails/Eggman or Amy/Rouge(though this may be a stretch, I don't remember how intense it actually got).

Sure. Next time add a option that allows me to vote "All of them are rivals" or an option that allows others to say "None of them."
