I just would like to say the graphics on this game were mind blowing. This was a major eye candy treat for a great classic game. I definitely look forward to kicking the resurrected titans butts on the sequel. Thanks Sega! Keep up the good work!

I think it's a mixed bag there, to be honest.
The character models look decent enough, some stages are acceptable.
The Desert level before the Grave of the Turtle Titan stage was impressive, I dissed a while before launch because it looked too brown-ish.
Turns out it's a great stage.
Xbox 360:
November 2006 - May 2008(1st RROD)
May 2008 - April 2009(2nd RROD)
April 2009 - February 2011 - Screw it, got a Xbox 360 S. Problem solved.
Since this game is a play on the Conan series, a lot of the art of those stories had a lot of browns. Which reminds me, I hope they come out with a new Conan game. The one for the PS3 that came out was awesome.Originally Posted by yusaku
The character models in Golden Axe were down right excellent and pristine! The stages were nice and ranged in warm desert areas.
@Kainchild- Either you really love hack n slash games or skimply clad females, or something else, but Conan for Ps3 was downright terrible along with Viking: Battle for Asgard. Conan was a more mature game, but extreme gripes were terrible/horrendous balance of sword play, dumb diffcultly get hit and not be able to counter attack and take 5 hits after one small blow, not realistic. Viking to terrible for me to describe with unimaginative story/gameplay.
Conan had great game play and it was suppose to make Conan out to above human standards. That's the way it was in the book. I never played Viking but want to.Originally Posted by beastegargoyle
Yeah, I didn't get much out of Conan or Viking, either. Viking was the better of the two, but it still didn't do much for me. I really like Golden Axe: Beast Rider, though. Sure, a lot could be fixed, but I think it's a good game. I dig the combat - the character models are stellar - the environments are pretty decent - and it's just old-school style hack n' slash fun.
