Default The Shining Force Series must return to it's roots!

The first 2 Shining Forces and Shining in the Darkness were the the greatest RPGs games I ever played and they were all Sega's. The cartoon design and interaction were my favorite with great story and music. When Shining Force was bought out by Atlus, it was turned into some perverse version (I think these guys at Atlus got possessed by the demons in the Persona series) and I hated the direction they went with the series. I think they need to return my favorite rpg back t the way it was and continue from the second version. Maybe make a 3D Cell shaded version with same art style used from the original.

Shining Force wasn't bought by Atlus........

Also I doubt he would like Feather, seems that he just likes the art style and the musical style....rather than the actual gameplay....

You forgot to mention the story as well. The first 2 games had great stories. Plus I did like the game play but what's game play without the rest?

Honestly I didn't think the stories were very unique and but anyways I was speaking to the fact that Shining Feather doesn't really have the same style as the old ones even though it has a similar gameplay. Which from my experience would turn off people who fell in love with the style of the original.

Well I think you're wrong. The first wasn't unique cause it was continuing from Shining in the darkness. The second one was very unique with a nice plot twist at the end. God I miss those games. I also think it was a shame that they never came out with the 3rd pf hte series for America. They only had a special one made which was part one of three piece but only gave us the first.

shining force feather will come as close as it can get to a camelot shining force, so keep a look out for it.

You're probably right. This is going to be the best they can up with. I guess I'll have to wait and see how good this game is. The only thing though is the story. What's the story about and is it even remotely connected to the original arc storyline?
