    Not so true.

Scene from Unleashed, Project Dark Gaia:
Eggman: "...and now the planet's coming back together!"
SAS5: "That is the result of the Chaos Emeralds which you discarded along with Sonic, another result of your hasty actions."
Eggman: "Q-quiet, you! That was- uh- all part of my plan!"

He's not quite an idiot, but he takes things way too fast, before he completely thinks things through.

But Robotnik's reign over "Mobius" (for those of you who still believe in the planet's continuity while it was actually Earth) is a staple to Sonic's past. And since then, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik has tried to reign again once more.

SatAM is considered totally non-canon, but if you ask me it's showing the world as it was before and during the original Genesis trilogy and showed a new side of Sonic that fit well with older audiences. But it was light enough with a considerable amount of dark to be something that all ages could enjoy. Kind of like Unleashed. Eggmanland was vaguely reminescent of some SatAM elements (Eggman's heads in the park, the factories out billowing out smoke, etc.)

I still think of this as one of the coolest cartoons ever alongside AoStH and Invader Zim.
Dost thou wish to know the dreadfully dreadful televised animate show as of the moment being? Adventure Time as I believe it's called.

Yeah, Eggman's no idiot. We should all know by now. \

But the way he was in SatAM just didn't appeal to me at all. His look, his voice, almost everything. One of the reasons why I don't favor the show.

I'll admit that the egg head shape was rather odd, but all else was awesome about him. He had the attitude of an evil dictator.

I saw that. It didn't feel at all like the Eggman that became my favorite character becuase of his mixture of diobolical yet humorous persona. That Robotnik lacked a lot of charm in my opinion. I just saw him as the sterotypical evil dictator guy I've seen plenty of times before.

What are you talking about. A lot of people like SatAM. In fact, I watched both of the commentaries screwattack.com did. You should see it. It's well put.

    Main Boards perhaps?
So, I saw Unborn. Loved it.
Read what the critics said. It's official, critics these days suck.

    Especially this part:

Failing to understand why a cherished TV show was canceled, when in fact hardly anyone was watching it aside from its cult fanbase. It's even conceivable that it wasn't Screwed By The Network, but rather that people tuned in and just didn't enjoy it, so they changed the channel.

Myopia spread pretty big out there I guess. I actually met a number of people who like Sonic SatAM in College. I was amused. Then we started talking about other cartoons we liked growing up watching on Saturday mornings aswell.
