Well I know that, It's not like I haven't used the internet outside of a few forums. I was saying that given the circumstances there really isn't any evidence that points to this certain forum being hacked. Also, most of the time when a forum is hacked the perpetrators usually just do trivial things like change the background to contain swastikas, they wouldn't leave the head admin in control.

This is honestly the most likely explanation. If it were hacked, why would the hacker leave Zez in place as founder even if they bruteforced his account? Surely they would have made their own and transferred foundership to it.

I also don't believe anyone with the skills to hack into forumotion would target a considerably small Sonic the Hedgehog fan forum.

If anything, I feel as if Zezima nuked the site himself to stop the bickering and made it appear as if it were hacked. The last time there was site drama, he shut down the site and say that it would be gone "indefinitely". Like you said, it could be for attention, but who knows. All I know is that it was not Lan.
