Community Brainstorming - Post your iPhone & iPod Touch Ideas Here

The community team has been invited into a brainstorming session for iPhone & iPod Touch game ideas this Wednesday and we want to grab some from everyone in the Sega community! We’ve released a few classics in the past few months and we’ve got our own ideas on what we’d like to see. So the question is, what sort of games are you looking to see on this new platform?

Any idea is welcome, no matter how out there or random, we’ll take it and add it the list for the presentation. There are some restrictions, but that’s expected, right? First, it has to be a Sega game, meaning no other publisher’s titles, even if they did appear on our old systems (I know, I know, I want to see a Road Rash sequel too). Second, we can’t accept original game ideas, we’re not looking for acquisitions for new titles in this brainstorming session. And that’s pretty much it, go to town and tell us what you want to see.

Of course, we can’t guarantee that anything will be created, but this is a great opportunity to have your voice heard to the internal Sega teams! We are gathering ideas from all our community spaces, so if you want you can post your ideas here, across our Twitter, on Facebook, or here across our forums! We’re looking forward to hearing what you think, the cut off for ideas will be Wednesday morning, so don’t delay!

Make a tower defence sytle game using psu enemies dunno what you would use as towers but that be something cool to see

bring back some school tactical rpg shinning force/soul games

I say port Crazy Taxi to the IPhone and make it to where you tilt the IPhone to steer.
(Has that been done before?)

ChuChu Rocket & Seaman. Both are fun simple games, perfect for touch screen.

I think a simple Sonic game that plays like Secret Rings would be awesome on the iPhone, don't give it a story. Use the accelerometer(spelling?) to move left and right, tap the screen to jump and do a homing attack.

Give it classic Sonic style visuals that are trippy and unique.

Yeah, but I mean a completely new game, It shouldn't have any gimmicks like a ring that makes you slowdown or speed up, just a good classic sonic game that controls like Secret Rings, would be perfect for how the iPhone/iPod Touch works.

Simple controls really:

Tilt left to move left, Tilt right to move right
Tap screen to jump and do homing attacks.

The Typing of the Dead would also be good for touch screen.

Sounds like that cancelled "Sonic Rub" DS game Shadi. Not a bad idea....

As for topic, something sorta meaty would be nice. If they can release a Metal Gear game, why not something like Phantasy Star?

Would be awesome... although, the Iphone is sorta hard to type on x.X Difficulty would need to be toned down.

x.X I can't see a Phantasy Star game on a device that has no buttons XD, unless it was like completely turned based.. but even then, can't see something like that on a iphone
