Default 4.2 menu update?

Does anybody know what this update does? Does it have anything to do with the conduit? It kinda looks like it does by the wording, but I can't tell. It would be awesome if it is. If anybody has downloaded it please tell us what it does. THanks

It deletes HomeBrew(told N.b.k. that) It also updates all IOS (including what hackers call the cIOS which allowed BootMii2 and DVDX to run) So no more DVD's and Backing up your Wii's Internal storage.

Yea its pretty much what quibber said but then I doubt anyone smart with homebrew will get the update which means it has minimal effects.

Its a shame Nintendo seems to be opposing the effort to make the Wii a little more functional.

I dont really think their AGAINST HomeBrew I'm sure they know how to prevent it and creat it before anyone else does. If they really wanted to remove it they would have also removed Indiana Pwns, and Smash Stack glitches. I think they are(more or less) trying to prevent any wii errors or hackers. If they are able to limit what HomeBrew can do just down to apps then I think they will stop trying to delete it.

=D Palm loves it hackers!

A little after the update 1.2 update came out a lot of people's hacks and mods stopped working, however they released a statement saying on how to hack it so you can get the full functionality back!

Palm Pre FTW!!!!

After I updated my Wii, I went on The Conduit, and when I joined the match, instead of getting the spawn glitch, I actually was a spectator in the match, which has only happened to me twice before. I don't know if this is because of the update, but I hope it is.
