Not saying homing attack is wrong... I'm saying that after Sonic Adventure 2 the enemies really don't do much at all to even fight you off.
that's not quite true. there are plenty of instances in the Unleashed day stages where the enemies proved difficult to defeat.

For example, running through a few Adabat quickstep sequences where you must dodge lasers from the Flying Eggman robots.

While the small enemies are very much useless as obstacles, it still doesn't mean some of the enemies aren't difficult to get through.

Also to other posts; Sonic 06 was a bad at EVERYTHING, including the homing attack. It's not okay to use it as an example of why the Homing Attack is a problem, because it's been done better in many games before that.

That's true, though they aren't exactly common-place, you can't get through the entire game with one anyway.

All I know is that the homing attack in Unleashed is damn near flawless except in a few rare cases of me not paying attention.

Kind of funny since I love it. I also adored the gold shield from 3D blast.

You know, I think lightdash is more annoying....

Only people that hate homing attack are the ones that hate everything about 3D Sonic in general.

Well, the newer ones suck. But the homing attack from the SAs were good.

I had no prob in 06. I always hit what I was going for.... Also I liked how you could homing attack objects. Once during the iblis fight I didn't get off the rock fast enough, he smashed into it, and then I was able to homing attack to the falling rock pieces and then make it to safety. Pretty cool move if you ask me...

Believe it or not, a lot of people do have issues with the homing attack. More typically old-generation fans.
I never had a problem with the homing attack, buddy.
