Superman Returns, hands down. But Superman Returns was an okay movie as well as Dragonball.

Yeah, but Superman Returns had a less convoluted, more evenly paced plot. And it had much better acting. And good special effects. Superman Returns can be considered an "okay" movie, but Dragonball is damn near unwatchable.

Superman Returns had awful effects, you could EASILY tell when CGI was used.

And you couldn't more easily tell it with Dragonball? Really?

Yeah, but at least there wasn't no graphically animated Goku, versus a complete graphically animated Superman.

Ah, double negatives are a clear indication of somebody who thinks through their words before posting them.

The "effects" they used for Goku and Piccolo's short flight looked a lot worse than a flying CG Superman. That scene was cheesy and embarrassing as hell.

Well, if you want to look at it Superman Returns is a obviously a far superior movie, no thanks to a much bigger budget.

I loved SR at the time, but looking at it now, it's actually pretty bland.
We only get to see Superman either not saying anything remotely interesting, he just using his strenght, there's no real conflict.

While in DBE the actors look way too old to portray teens, on the other hand SR the actors look way too young to be portraying characters considering it takes place after Superman 2.

I hope the upcoming Superman Reboot will do justice to the franchise.

I preferred DBE.
I think it could of been cause I had high expectations for Superman.
And none existant for DBE.

I don't think it's physically possible to make a DBZ movie that looks like the anime.

That said, at least when you look at Superman Returns, you can recognize Superan without having to be told which one he is.
